A few weeks ago we got an assignment in our Typography class to re-design the album cover for the infamous Madonna’s album “Confessions On A Dance Floor”. We could go as far as we wanted to, except for one thing – we could not use Madonna photos, which made it even more exciting to design!
Again, this was a Typography class assignment, not the illustration/art class assignment, so base your judgements on it. The focus of the assignment was, foremost, the use of the fonts/type. Thus, when reviewing my design, remember, it’s the type that matters and the way it works with (or against) the selected graphics/visuals.
