If you are an aspiring graphic designer and/or a working graphic design professional, most likely you do know the absolute-must-to-have color reference book series “Designer’s Guide to Color”.

These are THE bible(s) to the color palettes available for a designer, which is a great point to start with if creating any kind of a creative – from digital art and websites to posters and book junkets.

You’d be surprised how often the designers use it. Just ask Paula Scher, who was the one to introduce our Typography instructor – when they both taught and did projects together in the past.

You can buy it here. You might come across a few versions of the same part – part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, but you can safely order one or the other versions, they are pretty much the same with, maybe, a slight variation.

There’s a reason why the designers choose the combination colors they do…and there’s a reason why certain color do or do NOT go together.
